MDA MOUNTAIN RETREAT

The Mountain Retreat is nestled into a steep volcanic site on Mt Paku overlooking the Coromandel coastline some eighty metres above sea level. The mountain retreat is a recessive, timber clad, concrete structure of which consitinas out towards the open ocean and is seen as forming part of the land while functioning as a sustainable, space efficient beach house and studio with custom built in furniture.
